Gaskins Line

I, Edith ("Bunny") Caroline Gaskins (Russ, Heath), descend from the GASKINS family as follows:

1. My great-great-great-great grandparents: John Gaskins born about 1734; and his wife, Mary Williams who died before 1787.
    

2. My great-great-great grandparents: Zorabable Gaskins born before 1755 and died about 1801 in Hyde County, NC; and his wife Nancy Ann Jones born about 1750 and died in March 1803 in Hyde County, NC.
    

3. My great-great grandparents: John Gaskins birth date unknown, who died about 1830; and his wife Nancy Gaskill, who he married 18 November 1799.
    

4. My great grandparents: Zorabable (Torakekall) Gaskins born 10 Jan 1802 in NC and died 2 Nov 1862; and his wife, Margaret (Peggy) Cora Ballance who he married before 1821.
    

5. My grandparents:  George Washington Howard Gaskins born 08 Feb 1846 in Cape Hatteras, NC and died 28 Mar 1928 in Black Mountain, NC; and his first wife, Mary Elizabeth Styron from Hatteras.  He married her in Nov 1885.  She was born 22 Jul 1846 in Cape Hatteras and died there 22 Jul 1895.  She died very young and left a house full of children so my grandfather married a second time to Martha Frances Styron from Hatteras. I cannot find that the two wives were related even though they have the   same last name.
    

6. My parents:  Robert (Buddy/Rob) M. Gaskins was born about 1888 in Cape   Hatteras NC.  He committed suicide on 06 Aug 1935 in Southport, Brunswick County, NC.  He married Sabra (Sadie) Mason from Beaufort NC, born 22 September 1890.  They were married 13 May 1909 in Beaufort.  She was born Beaufort, Carteret County, NC, and died 16 Nov 1957, in Southport,  Brunswick County, NC.  They are both buried in the Olde Smithfield Cemetery in Southport.

My real name:  Edith (Bunny) Caroline Gaskins born 10 Aug 1929 in Southport, Brunswick County, NC; My first husband, Raymond Max Russ born 17 Oct 1916 in Wisconsin and died 07 Dec 1983 in Portsmouth Naval Hospital, Portsmouth, Virginia.  He was cremated in Virginia Beach VA. My second husband, James Larry Heath, and I were married in 1984 in Norfolk, Virginia.  We divorced in January 1986, in Brunswick County, North Carolina.
