Looking for Litchfields, probably Tyrell, Currituck, Hyde or surrounding counties in the mid to late 1700s

There are several Litchfield wills in Currituck County, starting with that of Edward Litchfield in 1768. To read transcriptions, go to the Currituck County NCGenWeb site. Also, be sure to check the land records abstracted on the site. I haven't found anything from the 1700s in surrounding counties, though there are marriage bonds for Jacob Litchfield and Elizabeth Ward in Tyrrell County from 1802 and 1803 and an estate for Jacob from 1806.
