While I do have a WILLIAMS line on my dad's side of the family, I know next to nothing about that one and it's way on back there, so I'm not going to mention that one.

On my mom's side, however, I have a WILLIAMS line that I know a bit more about. Here it is.

Ithamer WILLIAMS (b. abt 1730, Calvert County, MD – d. bef 22 Nov 1776, Calvert County, MD)

m. Rebecca (LNU, possibly Rebecca TALBOT)

Their children were as follows: (Please note, other than my grandfather, Talbot, I have no idea what year the others were born so I cannot assign any year ranges for them.)

  • Talbot WILLIAMS (1753–1820) m. Nancy "Ann" GARDNER (29 Nov 1764, Maryland–aft 1820, Craven County, NC), daughter of William GARDNER (b. abt 1736) and Milcah CHANEY (b. abt 1736), both of Maryland. After raising a family in Craven County, many of Talbot and Nancy's children moved to Indiana. Their children were:
    • Caroline "Kitty" WILLIAMS (1783–bef 1860) m. Laban MORRIS (1781–aft 1860)
    • Sarah "Sally" WILLIAMS (1785–1870) m. Farnifold COX (1790–1869); they moved from Craven County to Posey County, Indiana

    • Zachariah WILLIAMS (abt. 1795–aft 1850) m. Nancy MANKER (1799–bef 1860); they moved from Craven County to Posey County, Indiana
    • Joseph WILLIAMS (12 Dec 1797–23 Aug 1888) m. Sarah "Sally" Florence CARNEY (10 Sep 1801–19 Aug 1882), daughter of Frederick CARNEY & Drusilla POLLARD; Joseph & Sally WILLIAMS moved from Craven County to Posey County, Indiana
