Guns of Dobbs County citizens taken for use by king in battle against Regulators
The following is a list of men whose guns “were taken into the King’s Service for the Use of the Dobbs Detachment [against the Regulators] and … not returned to the Owners.” This can be found in the Colonial Records of North Carolina, Volume 22, pp 413-414.
