by | Articles, Beaufort County Genealogy, Wills & Estate Records | 0 comments

The following is the will of Adam Muckleroy. (Mackleroy, Mackelroy, Muckelroy, McElroy)

His children mentioned in the will are:

  • Zachariah (b. Abt. 1815)
  • Sally (b. Abt. 1819) m. James BUCK
  • William (b. Abt. 1827)
  • Annis (b. Abt. 1823) m. Cason ERNUL (ARNOLD)

I’m unsure whose child Rachel is. I’m guessing that since she is living with Adam and his wife, Catherine, in the 1850 census that her parents were dead.

In the name of God Amen. I ADAM MUCKLEROY of the County of Beaufort & State of North Carolina being of sound disposing mind & memory do make & publish this my last will & testament in the following manner. namely
